Amen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IN OUR PRAYERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our king and all his ministers and parliaments in Canada; unrelenting concern for the poor and homeless in our cities; wildfires in Canada and U.S.; peace for countries affected by war<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The needs of body and soul, especially for <strong>Marilyn, Gina,<\/strong> and those who care for them; <strong>John<\/strong>, <strong>Jim<\/strong>, <strong>Ray<\/strong>, <strong>Merv<\/strong> (brother of Gerry and Jean) for patient endurance by God\u2019s grace; <strong>Heather<\/strong> continued healing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>David our Synod President,Marvin, Arron, and Michael, our Regional Pastors, James, our Circuit Counsellor; our Lutheran churches in Ukraine and in Russia, for long suffering in their tribulations; our churches in Haiti and Nicaragua, and our fellowship with them; Rev. Angel Antonio Salazar Mac\u00edas who serves as a pastor for the Lutheran Church Jesus The Good Shepherd in the Potosi community, the Lutheran Church Bread and Life in the Monte Olivos community and the Lutheran church Principe De Paz in the Las Marias community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>LAST WEEK \u2013<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>ATTENDANCE: 66<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Sunday:<\/strong><\/td><td>1:30pm Divine Service<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>This afternoon, we welcome <u>Reverend Robert Krestick<\/u>, who will preside and preach at Christ\u2019s services today. We pray God\u2019s blessing on His hopeful Word to us today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Due to more people in attendance at one worship service, it is VERY IMPORTANT TO REFRAIN FROM WEARING FRAGRANCES. Let\u2019s think kindly towards each other who worship with us and <u>voluntarily abide<\/u> by this simple request. This aligns with many workplaces where this is mandatory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sunday School<\/strong> will begin on September 13th with a Meet the Teacher\/Registration Day from 12:15-1:15pm. We look forward to welcoming all the kids back for another year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Coffee Hour after 1:30 Church Service<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s get together for fellowship! Please sign up if you would like to host coffee\/drinks and goodies on the first Sunday of the month. Sign-up sheet is in the narthex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Flower Calendar is posted in the old narthex.
